On February 19, 2013 the teen participants of A-STRONG-U, a violence prevention program, shared their stories as to how the program has impacted and changed their lives. In addition to the eighty or so youth and their families, participants included the Honorable State Senator Mattie Hunter (D) 3rd District, representatives from Chicago Area Project, LOS staff, and community resident and mentor, Diana Perez.
